opening *.txt with favorite editor

Hello,
following a quesion of how to open pdf file:

I want that ,when pressing "Enter" on a file in MC, wcich have the extension
*.txt,I will open it with ny favorite editor, which is JEDit. (I have it
installed on my RH9 linux).

Is it possible ?
How can I do it ?
