Hello,
When I edit a symlinked file with mc or mc -e, respectivly, after
saving it became an regular file. So the changes are not applied
to the original file and the symlink does not exist any more.
It this a correct behaviour of mc?
Is this configureable?
This is my mc version.
mc -V :
GNU Midnight Commander 4.6.0
Virtual File System: tarfs, extfs, cpiofs, ftpfs, fish, mcfs,
smbfs, undelfs
With builtin Editor
Using included S-Lang library with termcap database
With subshell support as default
With support for background operations
With mouse support on xterm and Linux console
With support for X11 events
With internationalization support
If you need more information please let me know
Thanks in advance
Christian
