Re: mc and mcedit problem - ^M



Sorry--didn't notice this post before sending my perl script.  I typed unix2dos
at the command line and it turns out that that, too, exists.

Those files where in M$ windows at some point.
You get rid of those chars with dos2unix, a
system utility that usually is present on all
distribs.
Pf2 in mc then "do something with the file" then
dos2unix and voilá... gone.
