slow unzip with MC and RPM bug

I have MC 4.5.55 Linux
why the unzip enter archive F5(copy) iz slower then
from shell when i type unzip file.zip

and why when directorys have that have spaces
i got error on RPM when accses RPM file.
example

/install/webmin rpms/test test test>usermin-0.970-1.noarch.rpm

this happens only if dir has spaces
