Hello!

I have instaled the new RH8 on my machine (Sony VAIO PIII600 128MB
Model: PCG-F707)

My probelm is that if i go in a directory deeper deeper ex. 7 subdirs
the mc get slower and slower, it takes 2-5 second to move the cursor
from left to right with tab.


You forgot the version of mc.  Believe me, it's much more relevant than
the make of your laptop and even the distribution you are using.
