The Midnight Commander home page at http://www.gnome.org/mc has broken
links to the MC distribution files.  Listed as last released on Aug. 24,
2001, about 16 down from the top of the screen, in Links 0.97 anyway:

You might want to consider putting the 4.5.55 snapshot someplace where
people can get to it, and fixing that and other links accordingly.


Fetching MC via CVS as linked from the above page, works fine.
