Pavel,
Sorry,
I'm using 4.5.55 (downloaded yesterday), and I'm still not able to get it to
learn these keys in the "Learn Keys". It is as <home> and <end> is not
beeing interperted by MC. Both these keys function fine with bash.
OS: RedHat 7.1
It works find with RedHat 7.0 and MC 4.5.51-18 (RedHat dist).
Regards/Casper

Hi, Casper!
This question has probably been asked more than once.
It seams that these two keys does not work with the latest versions of
MC -
has anyone got a workaround?
The workaround is to teach mc to recognize those keys using "Learn keys"
in the "Configuration" menu.
I recommend you to use mc-4.5.55 because it has fixed several bugs in the
"Learn keys" code. It also comes with better default keys for xterm and
rxvt.
Next time please mention exactly the version of MC, your operating system
and the terminal type (console, xterm etc).
