ACK. The patch can't do any harm, since it just adds a few more
.h files (not even anything to compile). 

Of course, we also could only add those things that are really needed
for the bugfixes, but that would mean extra work for picking that out
and merging that back to 4.7.

ACK. Once we've applied it (should do it to 4.6 and 4.7 in one step to
prevent additional cherry-picking hassle), we can work easily work on 
the bug fixes in the next step.
