Patch to support highlighting occurences

Hi,

There is patch to mc-4.6.1 attached. This patch adds support of highlighting occurences in mcedit.
 I guess it is far from being ok. Nevertheless if could have a look and tell me what to fix in it.
 Beyond that maybe you have some coding guidelines or something like that?
