unrar vs. crypt archiv

Hi, all!

I have question need to be explained for me.
I try to get file from passworded archive (in particular case *.rar) by 
mc's urar. My mc (catched from FC3 updates) is frozen until I kill the 
unrar process due to waiting of a password on its stdin.
What about last versions of vanilla mcs?
