    Foget about MC from ports.
    Set BASH as default shell for user (vipw).
    Get:
    http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/utils/file/managers/mc/mc-4.6.1-pre1.tar.gz
    Goto dir with source.
    #./configure --with-screen=mcslang
    #make
    #make install
    F10 -) yes
    #mc
