I wish I had time to check all those bugs for Midnight Commander in 
different bug tracking systems, but it's very time-consuming.

I applied a similar patch some time ago.  A problem with "type/executable"  
was noticed a few days later and fixed by removing the entry (it was a
different symptom - "pause after run" didn't work).

Both fixes are in 4.6.0-pre1.
