Of course, the version of mc is probably irrelevant if you don't
mention it. Perhaps all versions of mc have the same bugs. By
extension, all future versions will have exactly the same bugs.
So why report them?  Maybe to show developers (note, you chose
mc-devel for your report) how useless their efforts are?

Please note that mc exists at all because some people think
otherwise.
