Hello!
Versions info:
-------------
Red Hat Linux version 2.2.16
(gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release))
GNU Midnight Commander 4.5.55 compiled from sources:
Edition: text mode
Virtual File System: tarfs, extfs, ftpfs, mcfs
With builtin Editor
Using S-Lang library with terminfo database
With subshell support as default
With support for background operations
With mouse support on xterm
With multiple codepages support
Using locale "en_US" (from environment variable LC_ALL)
Bug: Try to copy folder "dir1" into folder "dir2" containing regular
--- file named "dir1".
1. mc will not report any error.
2. You will see that "dir1" file attributes were rewritten with
attributes of folder "dir1".
3. Moreover if you will try to move the folder instead of copy,
it will be lost without any warning...
...Bye..Dmitry.
