I think it's a good idea.  Just don't expect many users to read your
document.  Many users don't read any documentation or only read it to find
answers to their questions.  So the document should be for "power users"
who want to get most of mc.

Your document may be used as a starting point for writing help.  But it's
better to start with a separate document.
