Hello!
The position saving code in the recent snapshots had a serious bug. If
the file with saved positions was missing, the same memory would be freed
twice.
The bug has been fixed in CVS and the snapshot has been regenerated
(2002-12-09-16). If you downloaded the mc snapshot this weekend, please
upgrade.
