First of all, please don't send blind copies to the list.  Your mailer
must be misconfigured unless you do it intentionally.

Please give more info:

1) Version of GMC
2) Version of your OS
3) Permissions on /tmp
4) Value of TMPDIR environment variable if it's set.
5) Output of "id"
6) Output of "mount"
7) Location of the file you are trying to view
