I just looked at the Northwest Linuxfest tracks and there can't be a conference more in aligned to talk about desktop than there for that part of the country. I'm very sorry that I missed the opportunity to present. I have mailed the organizers and have asked that they consider me as a speaker for GNOME 3 for next May/April. That will be right before the next major release of GNOME 3. So it will be a good time to talk about it.
