Both, I guess. :)
I was thinking something that says "Friend of GNOME" or "Support GNOME" or "I love GNOME, do you?" or "GNOME Lover" ... I don't know. (Maybe somebody else is better at slogans? :) I think it should be something that supporters will be proud to put on their webpage (pretty, catchy) and something that shows other people they could also support GNOME.
I was thinking a couple of sizes, targeted at blog sidebars. So maybe a couple of small squares and then a longer vertical rectangle?

We're getting close to launching our new Friends of GNOME website.
I was wondering what people would think of having some Friends of GNOME badges or banners that people could put on their personal website. Assuming it was cool, I would put one on my blog.
Any volunteers to create one?
Sure.
What did you have in mind more precisely?
Banners inviting others to become Friends of GNOME or banners to show that the person behind the website is a Friend of GNOME? (or both?)
What sizes and stuff do we need?
