2.16 splash screen and logos

Hi :o)
The splash seems to use a distorted foot, when compared to the foot on
the top left of the site. This is to be avoided, according to the logo
guidelines[1], which seems very understandable.
That said, there appears to be a new logo on the guidelines page, which
seems to be the one on the splash. Has GNOME got a new logo ? Is this
logo in different proportions to the old one ?
I've found few discussions about this new logo, I don't want to make any
further comments yet as things seem a little "fuzzy". I find the new
logo very good, btw.
