This is frustrating to me.  We've had these discussions of target audience
for well over a year now.  It's an endless cycle of constantly discussing
the same thing.  We need to stop.

Pick an audience.  I prefer we push on the Linux enthusiasts and corproate
types.  Start with them, and ask yourself what they want.

Linux enthusiasts want bling, corporate types want ease of use, and there's
a whole microcosm of people around those corporate types including sysadmins
who want to be able to administrate these machines.

GNOME needs to figure out technically how to achieve those target markets.

It's not going to be done on a mailing list.  Small collaborative, focused
groups can do this with a wide backgrounds can do this.   Lets create
some leadership and lead these groups.

It can be done.  GNOME Summary started off as a one man operation
and it turned into a GNOME Journal with a small focused team and is
showing a measure of success because of a strong vision of what the
end state was.
