Splash screen contest for 2.12

After the successes of the last splash screen contest (over 200
entries), it's now time for a contest for 2.12.

One issue from the last contest was how the final decision was made.
Garrett LeSage has kindly said he would help judge the contest this
time, which should reassure people over the final splash screen decision.

The contest is going to be held at art.gnome.org.

Rules:

* The closing date for entries is the September 5th.
* All entries must be released under the GPL.
* No plagiarism - You must have permission if you create any derivative 
works
* Size should be: 450 width and 300 heigth


Text to introduce the splash screen contest:

With the imminent release of the GNOME 2.12, the time has come to find 
the ideal splash screen to go with it. Now is your chance to join the 
ranks of the precious few who have had their artwork associated with a 
major release of GNOME! The contest will be judged by Garret LeSage of 
linuxart.com
