Mapping Free Internet Radio with GNOME Internet Radio Locator

Dear Maps List,

I am writing a Free GNOME program that lets the user locate Free
Internet radio stations from GNOME Maps and listen to broadcasts
on GNOME systems running GTK+, GNOME Maps and gstreamer-player.

You can download the software gnome-internet-radio-locator from

https://download.gnome.org/sources/gnome-internet-radio-locator/
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-internet-radio-locator

The topic is relevant because Free Internet Radio is important in
the age of proprietary and monetizing streaming applications.  All
of the Internet Radio stations in GNOME Internet Radio Locator are listener-supported and non-profit student radio from mainly
university cities around the world.

See http://www.gnome.org/~ole/GUADEC2017.pdf for my description of
the gnome-internet-radio-locator DTD and radio station XML file.

Screenshot of the GNOME Internet Radio Locator program with the
tiles map based on GNOME Maps and OpenStreetMap is available on
https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/InternetRadioLocator

Happy hacking,
Ole
