Hi Jin,

So it looks like the engine that LSR should select to use through
gnome-speech is FreeTTS. Is this the engine you use with Orca?

It looks like this problem is a bug in FreeTTS support for LSR. I'll
file a bug and cc you so you know when it is fixed.

I have setup gnome-speech and test-speech shows me:
