Hi everybody!
I'm new to the list, so I couldn't directly answer to the
subject.

But there's even a libxml2 meson wrap.
libxml2 can be built with Autotools or CMake. When I read about
Meson subprojects once again today, I noticed that a subproject can
be built with CMake. I wasn't aware of that before. That's why
there's no subprojects/libxml-2.0.wrap file in libxml++. It's
probably no big problem, at least not in a Linux system. You should
be able to install libxml2 with your distros package manager.
I opened an issue on wrapdb today about updating the
libxml++ (or currently libxmlpp) wrap:
To my
understanding there should be three wraps, for 3.0, 4.0
and 5.0. Is this correct?
If anyone wants these wraps, and anyone wants to add them, that's
okay. I don't know who decides what shall be possible to install
with
meson wrap install.
