We will soon release libxml++ 3.0.0, the first stable 3.0 release.

If you want an ABI/API-breaking change in libxml++, tell us before 3.0.0 is released. Post a message on libxmlplusplus-list or (better) file a bug report in Bugzilla, product libxml++.

If there will be no, or only minor, suggestions for changes, "soon" means "in a few weeks."
