I have used xmlpp::Document::write_to_file_formatted() and
xmlpp::Document::write_to_string_formatted(), and I assume that Carlo
has done the same. Carlo's complaints are about how the
xmlpp::Document::write_to_xxx_formatted() functions behave.
Now there is also the bug https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=669028.
