the content of the win32_msvc6 dir is ok and working.

but I think the dist is now broken, all I got in the tar was the win32_msvc6
dir

If I understand correctly, DIST_SUBDIRS overrides SUBDIRS
so it should read:
    DIST_SUBDIRS = $(SUBDIRS) win32_msvc6
(this worked for me)

I wont post a patch - I am positive you can handle it...

Done. The files are included in the distribution when using 'make dist'.

Ephraim, could you check if everything's ok (I don't have msvc) ?
