I'm actually using 1.2 in this instance. However, that patch changes
where pkgconfig reports the libs are located, but the Makefiles still
install the includes and libs in /usr/lib instead of /usr/lib64.
I'm still new with the x86_64 platform, so I may be missing something
else, but that's how things seem to me.
If I get this working, do you want a patch for the 1.2 series?
