[sigc] RE: [gtkmm] Abandoning gcc 2.9*?



So, we will abandon gcc 2.9* support in libsigc++ 2 and gtkmm 2.4. Of course
we will apply any reasonable patches [1] that people provide to support any
compilers, but nobody should expect core developers to waste time on gcc
2.9*. 

[1] So far, there are only unfinished gcc 2.9* patches in gtkmm's bugzilla.
