Hi Juan,
I think it wouldn't be very hard to change it to GtkBin (which is a
superclass of GtkAlignment and which is not deprecated). But I'd wait
with this change to the next libchamplain API break because it
technically breaks the GtkChamplainEmbed API. There's nothing wrong
about using GtkAlighment for now, it's just that its functionality is
available in GtkWidget directly. I've created a bug report here so we
don't forget about it:
