Hi,

Good news, LaTeXila 2.10.0 is released.

The search and replace has been improved, to use the new API from 
GtkSourceView. And the upstream version of GtkSpell is used.

Dependencies changes:
Enchant -> GtkSpell
(and check the required versions for the other dependencies)
