las-gnome Update on SF Bid

Hi guys, 

Giovanni is a super star and got his CS professor to help us plan an event and secure a location on Stanford campus. The cost would be about $3,800 total for the venue for 3 days unless her department is able to sponsor part of the cost. I'm attaching the quote below, which means that it's ready to go as long as we can provide the funds. 

@Cosimo / SF team - any other venue options? I know some of you were looking into alternatives. 

I also updated our bid summary in the LAS GNOME Vision and Summary 2018 doc. We now have the highest score there and are the most complete bid. 

@Sri - any progress on the Denver bid? Can you get an update in the next week?
