A HUGE thank you to Alexandre for looking into the website issue we had. Thanks for his hacking, we are keeping the theme we currently have. We can now add sponsors and speakers to the home page :) 

We will have a special meeting on: May 17 (Tuesday) 16:00 UTC for website QA. We'll do a full PR launch on Wednesday, May 18th. Please join us if you can on https://meet.jit.si/lasgnome.

@Sri - send out email to each plenary speaker with suggested bio/photos - send template to Nuritzi

@Sri - add a link to the registration page from the registration section of the website

@Sri/Zana - to draw up budget for submission to GNOME Treasurer; @Zana will propose time to Sri to meet

@Nuritzi - will revise first draft of PR then post

@Adelia - spruce up travel page with images of city and fun facts

@Adelia will help migrate FAQs to other pages

@Adelia - conduct poll for regular meetings for talks team. regular meetings should start next week

    @Sri - create a list of blogs and press to reach out to announce LAS GNOME

    @Sri - ask a webdev to see if we can add - Sri spent some time learning how to web dev instead. The wordpress site is too limited 

    @Sri - lead the creation of the Speaker agreement - from experience, never had to sign any speaker agreements, also checked with an attorney friend who said hasn't come across such thing. 

    Proposed solution: 1) Have the speaker sign-off before the talk (eg for rights to publish video etc) or 2) Put a caveat when they submit the talk, that also gives us the right to CC license etc

    @Sri - send Rob an email template for asking speakers for bios and pictures, by end of today, Friday (We need to collect the bios and pics by next Wednesday). Alexandre is seeing if GNOME Asia has something we can use. 

    - Sri will poke Rob again today for the template (before he goes on vacation). Fallback plan - Sri can consolidate since he has been copied on all emails

    @Sri - will reach out to Miguel to see if Microsoft can sponsor us - has emailed but no response yet

    @Sri - help create a sponsors legal agreement and package - OSCON had this sponsorship legal agreement that we can take for our own: http://studylib.net/doc/8302414/oscon-open-source-convention-sponsor-and-exhibitor-prospectus; must request for svg format for logo image file.

    Note: Ensure board is informed prior to monetary transactions (invoices issuance) taking place

    @Sri - we need to be active on twitter for LAS GNOME (need the password from Nuritzi) - password reset and shared

    @Nuritzi - help write a press release for the event and put it up on the News section of gnome.org. Needs to be put on the press wire. Ask Open Suse or Endless to start. 

    @Nuritzi - to ask Endless for a smaller $500 sponsorship - no update

    @? - need to create a template for the badges so we can print them beforehand - KIV
