There is a nice amount of things to look forward to:

* The interface looks better and is themable
* The interface is frendlier with more obvious access to Preferences and Help
* You can set the default action for each object
* Kupfer works with ibus, thanks to David
* The Plugin API documentation is much better
* The Thunar 1.2 integration with its file actions is beautiful
* The Go To action on applications focuses the most recently used
window of the app if it has many
* Users can now configure preferred Terminal (and plugins can
implement more alternatives, nothing hardcoded).
