Kupfer process hangs at shutdown

Hello.
I installed the latest version of Kupfer from GitHub [1] on Ubuntu
10.10., 64bit.
The problem I noticed is that the process seems to hang everytime when
I want to shutdown my computer. The task manager routine of Ubuntu
just states an "Unknown" process but I found out that when I kill
kupfer.py it won't pop up with the message.
Do you experience the same?
