That's a great news for all Ubuntu users that can be stick to latest Kupfer's release and contribute to development reporting bugs and feedback!

Hi,

We have started the first team for kupfer in Launchpad.net,
specifically to publish a PPA for Ubuntu users. I and Francesco
Marella will work on this. The main packaging for Ubuntu and Debian is
done by Luca Falavigna; this effort will mostly serve to expand upon
that and reach ubuntu users with new Kupfer versions.

The team's description is written loosely as simply "Maintaining a
Hope for a good future with Kupfer" :-) That means, aligning kupfer
with its users, providing updates (PPAs) but can also mean other
things. The team is open to join, and hopefully PPA packages will
appear there for Ubuntu users soon.

As always, the latest version of Kupfer (c15) is available in Debian
unstable (Thank you Luca!)
