Updates from the GNOME Sysadmin Team

Hi,

I would like to give you a few updates on the things we've been looking at recently:

1. DNSSEC has been enabled on several GNOME domains:
    * gnome.org
    * guadec.org
    * gnomehispano.org
    * gnomehispano.es
    * guadec.es

2. projects.gnome.org's migration to wiki.gnome.org.

The projects.gnome.org website is currently being migrated to the following places:

GNOME Apps: https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps
GNOME Projects: https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects

Both pages are currently under construction. Maintainers and developers will now be able to modify their app / project page without the need of a git account and most of all without the need to clone an huge repo like gnomeweb-wml. All these without losing some of the benefits of Git like the history of previous changes and a diff between the various page changes themselves.

Thanks to the GNOME Design Team for the awesome work they're putting on it.

3. New ways to contact the GNOME Sysadmin Team

We've been recently upgrading and tuning our Request Tracker setup by creating various new queues to it including the:

 * Accounts queue: accounts gnome org

 * General support queue: support gnome org (or other reports not matching any of the other queues)

 * Mailman related issues: mailman gnome org

 * Planet related issues: planet gnome org

 * Git related issues: gitmaster gnome org

 * Security related issues: secresp gnome org

 * Emergency: emergecy gnome org (all tickets sent to this queue are paged to the each of the GNOME Sysadmins phones, please make sure the issue is really an emergency before sending an email here)

Looking at the existing open tickets can be done by looking at each queue's status page available at the following urls:

 * Accounts: https://rt.gnome.org/stats/accounts.html

 * Git: https://rt.gnome.org/stats/git.html

 * Mailman: https://rt.gnome.org/stats/mailman.html

 * General: https://rt.gnome.org/stats/general.html

 * Planet: https://rt.gnome.org/stats/planet.html

The following queues will CC the gnome-infrastructure gnome org list by default:

 * Planet queue
 * Mailman queue
 * General queue
 * Git queue

While the following won't given they contain sensitive information:

 * Accounts queue
 * Security Response queue
 * Emergency queue

All the above details can be consulted as a future reference at the following wiki pages:

https://wiki.gnome.org/Sysadmin/RequestTracker

and

https://wiki.gnome.org/Sysadmin/Contact

In addition to the above the 'Sysadmin' product has been retired from Bugzilla and all the bugs have been marked as OBSOLETE. Please make sure to report the issue once again to the new contact emails if the problem / request you want to report has not been fulfilled as of today.

Have an awesome day everyone!
