SoC 2008 Info

Greetings!

I am interested in a Google SoC 2008 project.  I noticed that you are currently porting Hildon from Maemo to Gnome Mobile.  I was wondering if there are any tasks which would be a good candidate for an SoC project.  I am very familiar with C/C++ and Python.  I am currently a Computer Science student and will graduate in May with a BS.  In the Fall, I will continue school as a PhD student, researching computer security and distributed/parallel systems.
