I don't personally see a lot of point of going out of our way to
implement them in GNOME. Presumably an expert user could change the
keybindings from Ctrl+X/V to Shift-Ins/Del themselves using the
standard gtk dynamic menu keybindings feature if they so desired, or

mechanism?

+support them would be very convenient. Frankly I've always found it
+strange that the default UNIX shortcut for aborting a program suddenly
