Hi gvfs-list,
I finally got motivated enough to try and

How does gvfs like to accept patches ? Attach
to a bug report ? Send to the list ?
Attached to bugs. You can use "git-bz" to attach directly to bugs, for
example:
git bz file "gvfs/smb backend" origin/master...
Any 'Sign-off'
or legal formalities required ?
No sign-offs needed.
Just try to follow the coding style, and the commit message style of
the existing commits, such as prefixes to the commit subject,
explaining the user impact in the subject (or a summary of the coding
scaffolding you're doing if not applicable), and add any necessary
references to documentation or mailing-list links explaining in greater
details if needed.
Prospective helpers would like to know :-).
Good to see you, hopefully you'll be able to get POSIX support working
for us as well, so I can read titles with ":" in my music collection ;)
Cheers
