Hi,
When using a GIO aware application, I am finding strange behavior when
trying to save/open files directly from a samba share with gvfs.
Suppose I use gedit and select open and enter smb://my.server into the
location bar, nothing happens. If I then add a trailing slash
smb://my.server/, the shares are displayed. I can live with that.
But, once I have my share list up in the gedit open dialog, if I then
double click a share I get a message saying "Could not read the
contents of <sharename>. Not a directory".
So I then try and type the full path directly into the location bar,
smb://my.server/sharename/, and it works just fine.
Is this a known bug?
I am running Debian testing using Xfce4 if that matters. Full version
numbers below.
