You can ignore the second hunk in that small patch...
Here's another one though.
I think your problem with the volume monitor is that the fdi rule in
libiphone is not strict enough, and will tag a device as having the afc
capability when it's not been reconfigured by usbmuxd yet.
The lshal -m -l log is attached.
