I was looking around to see if a fix for this bug is expected any time
soon. I was surprised to see no mention of it in the gvfs-list
archives! I am just an end user, but was hoping for an opinion from
the people directly involved.
It's unfortunate that FUSE will not allow root access to the .gvfs
directory. A suggestion had come up that the gvfs should simply be
mounted elsewhere such as /tmp/gvfs-username or something. Is that a
viable option? Whether or not that is the case, what are the current
thoughts about resolving this?
Sameer.
