[guppi-list] can't compile guppi 0.40 without libxml2

I get
./.libs/libguppi.so: undefined reference to `glade_xml_get_widget'
./.libs/libguppi.so: undefined reference to `glade_xml_new'
during a link after compiling demo.c

after installing
libxml2-dev I was able to build successfully

maybe the configuration script should check for libxml2 stuff?
