CVS breakage mostly over

After a few days of massive, flaming breakage, CVS version of Guppi
has now stabilized somewhat. As of right now, it even passes "make
distcheck".

Here is what has been done:

* The new data model, such that it is, has been merged in.
* A vast majority of the guile bindings are now auto-generated.
* The plug-in system has been generalized, and the framework for the
data import plug-ins has been set up.
* I've started hacking on converting the old delimited text import
code into a plug-in. I hope to finish that up this weekend.

Here is what needs to be done before I release 0.34.1:

* The delimited import plug-in needs to work.
* The main app has to be made to properly use the import plug-ins.
The importer objects provide ways of trying to automagically
guessing which importer can/should be used on each file. This needs
to be put together in an intelligent way.
* All of the remaining hand-made guile bindings need to be replaced
  by auto-generated code.

Once that all gets done, we'll have a few 0.34 releases, iterating
until even the people on strange and troublesome platforms (any IRIX
users out there?) can build and run Guppi without too many problems.
Then I'll start working towards 0.35 and (hallelujah!) new features.
