I got this bug report from multiple sources almost immediately.
It is a guile 1.3.4 vs. guile 1.4 bug, and I've (silently) fixed it
in the Guppi 0.35.1 tarball on the server.

So if you re-download from 
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/guppi/Guppi-0.35.1.tar.gz
and try again, that problem should be cleared up.

(Yeah, I probably should have incremented the version number.  But for
a silly little one-line fix...)
