Hello Sir/Madame,
I'm started to work on UPnP and new to this area.My
plan was to implement a control point for TV LG 32LF6300.For this
purpose during invoke action found need an input argument
"InstanceID"
and for browse action need "ContainerID".I had read from Rendering
control document that "InstanceIDs are usedby ControlPoints when
invoking Rendering Control Service actions".
Could you please suggest me how to get InstanceID and containerID
from
device side? Awaiting your reply
InstanceID is usually 0. If the device supports PrepareForConnection,
it can be different, and PrepareForConnection will give you the
instance ID to use.
ContainerIDs you will get during browse. There is one well-known id of
the root container (entry point into the hierarchy) and it is "0"
