Re: Cannot play to renderer

Sorry, that doesn't work.
I extracted the tar.xz and pasted the Fix-argument-order.patch file into the new gupnp-tools-0.8.6.1 folder, then applied the patch.
This gave the error:
patch: **** Can't open patch file Fix-argument-order : No such file or directory

Then I tried:
patch -p1 gupnp-av-cp Fix-argument-order.patch

which gave the error:
patching file gupnp-av-cp
Hunk #1 FAILED at 108.
Hunk #2 FAILED at 133.
Hunk #3 FAILED at 146.
Hunk #4 FAILED at 154.
4 out of 4 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file gupnp-av-cp.rej
patch unexpectedly ends in middle of line

Also, I can't find any file called "gupnp-av-cp" anywhere inside the folder.

Hi,

this is not a binary patch, you need to get the source archive from
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gupnp-tools/0.8/gupnp-tools-0.8.6.1.tar.xz

extract it, apply the patch inside the directory with patch -p1
gupnp-av-cp Fix-argument-order and run

./configure --prefix=/usr
make

then change to src/av-cp/ and run ./gupnp-av-cp from there.
