With the discoverer bits merged into gst-plugins-base, we are only
waiting for the profile library to be moved as well [1]. This didn't
happen in the current release cycle, but should in the next, which is
scheduled for around January 2011. When this happens, we will delete the
internal copy and make a stable release that just depends on the latest
gst-plugins-base at the time.

That means in the next 4 months, we should have a stable library without
these bundled libraries. I don't want to promise timelines that I'm not
sure about, but there will be intermediate development releases, at
least removing the bundled discoverer and hopefully the rest as well.

Even assuming that the intermediate unstable releases don't count, would
the 4 month period in which we bundle these libraries be cause for
concern?
